Jenna Lee was born and raised on the beautiful lakeshore of Southwest Michigan and earned her bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University. In 2014 Jenna Lee established Charleston Payroll with the mission of providing a quality payroll service to the Charleston community. Now Charleston Payroll has hundreds of clients throughout the southeast and across the country and has expanded services to include insurance, timekeeping, and HR. Jenna Lee’s favorite part of owning a business is being able to watch and assist her clients grow in their own businesses.
Jenna Lee enjoys cooking, SUP boarding, and “beaching it” with her husband and four children Evelyn, Charles, Scarlett, and Henry.
Alex hails from Augusta, GA and has been heavily involved in the business community for over 20 years. After attending Georgia Tech and the University of Georgia, he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2001.
Now living in Charleston as a Payroll Specialist with Charleston Payroll, he is proud to call himself a Charlestonian. Over the years his approach to business has never changed: Provide expertise, build relationships, and support your community!
Alex has a cat named Juno and enjoys mountain biking, running, kayaking, and pretty much anything outdoors.
Eni was born in the Philippines and came to Charleston with her family when she was only 13 years old. She earned her US citizenship and is very proud to be an American! After completing her Accounting degree, she worked very hard to be successful in her career. She has worked as an accountant for over 15 years and is now also a small business owner. Since joining Charleston Payroll in 2015, Eni has played a crucial role in the continued success of the business. Her exceptional skill set, true passion, and innovative thinking has inspired massive growth.
Eni also has very active roles within her church community, serving in the choir and the finance department for over 20 years. She also finds joy when volunteering to help the needy. She loves her daily adventures with her husband Abe, her son Nicko, and their yellow lab Jack-Jack.
Tonya, a Charleston native, was born and raised in the tri-county area. As an avid athlete,
she played softball for Summerville High School and for the College of Charleston. She joined the Charleston Payroll Team in 2017 after 15 years as the Payroll/HR Manager for the local branch of a national medical staffing company. She believes that great customer service starts by always answering the phone with a smile and giving everyone you speak with your full attention.
Tonya and her husband, John Bacsal, currently live in Summerville. They have three children and one grandson. In her spare time she enjoys playing golf and sprucing up her yard. As a former softball player herself, she’s proud to watch her daughter play softball for Spartanburg Methodist College.
Jack grew up in Northern Minnesota and graduated from Saint Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science. While in college he also enjoyed his time as a college Athlete (Football).
Wanting to get out of the cold, Jack moved to Charleston in 1996 and began working for a national insurance company helping clients with electronic benefit enrollment systems. He then worked in sales for a national payroll company and then a regional payroll company serving large businesses. He enjoys helping companies streamline their processes making them more efficient.
Jack is an avid outdoorsman and loves spending time with his family. Jack is married to his wife of 15 years, Becky, with whom they have three children, Jake, Will, and Kate.
